Paperback of “Tías & Primas: on Knowing and Loving the Women who Raise Us”

Excited to share that the PAPERBACK edition of my book “Tías & Primas,” is finally available for preorder ✨

Now I know, you must be thinking: the book has been out, what’s the big deal. And yes, you’re correct. But publishers release paperback copies a year (or more) after the release the hardcover copies of your book. The basic premise is that hardcover books cost more, and so they are able to make back more of the investment they made on the author through those sales. Paperback books are cheaper, and most of the public prefers paperbacks - so they hold off on releasing the paperbacks. But I love a cheaper option, for my readers, and I am delighted to know it’ll now be available.

All this to announce that finally, I have a paperback copy of my second book! I have enjoyed y’all’s feedback on this second born child of mine, and am excited to share what’s to come. You might notice some minor changes to language, in one particular chapter. You’ll see it when you see it 👀 The book is also now purple, which I love to see, an homage to “For Brown Girls…” my first born and the book that made this career possible for me.
